Regina
Vitti-Lyons, President, The Write Solution
Regina Vitti-Lyons has 20
years experience in business writing, project management,
research, and administration.
Ms. Vitti-Lyons is
president of The Write Solution, a business and technical
writing firm she founded in 1999. Her company’s services
include a full range of business writing services such as
grant and journal articles, research studies, annual
reports, newsletters and e-newsletters, policies and
procedure manuals, promotional materials, and various other
business publications. Her clients are both corporate and
non-profit. She is also a contributing writer for
Pittsburgh magazine and has been an adjunct instructor at
Penn State University’s McKeesport campus where she taught
Advanced Business Writing.
For three years Ms
Vitti-Lyons managed the advisory panels of several
women-owned businesses for PowerLink, a nonprofit
organization based in Pittsburgh. PowerLink helps women
owned businesses grow profitably through the use of
professional, volunteer advisory panels.
She spent 10 years in upper-level administrative positions with the
University of Pittsburgh and Point Park College. In
addition to business writing, her diverse background
includes directing marketing/market research studies;
facilitating strategic planning, focus groups and
self-studies; and managing hard and soft money budgets of
nearly $13 million.
As a member of the
University of Pittsburgh volunteer pool, Ms. Vitti-Lyons
volunteered for many different agencies. She was a United
Way representative for the University for four years. She
has been a member of several advisory boards for various
social services projects. And she was a member of the 1996
Rotary International Business Group Study Exchange Team that
traveled to Brazil.
In addition, she coaches t-ball, is a Girl Scout leader,
writes a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) newsletter, has
chaired several PTO committees, and has participated in
several nonprofit agency fundraisers (e.g. Relay for Life,
Walk for Autism).
Ms. Vitti-Lyons holds a
BA in Journalism from Duquesne University, an MA in
Journalism and Communications from Point Park College, and
an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. |
